Barbecued Organic Beef Rump Centre cut

Ingredients

Organic Beef rump centre cut
2 tsp sea salt
Freshly ground pepper
½ cup olive oil
Cherry tomatoes
Green salad (optional)

Sauce

Latasha’s kitchen Green Chimichurri Sauce

Instructions

  1. Rub both sides of the steak with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat a barbecue or grill pan and cook the steak for 4 minutes for each side or until done to your liking
  3. Transfer to a large plate and rest for 5 minutes
  4. To serve: slice the rump thinly against the grain and drizzle with some of the Chimichurri Sauce.
  5. Serve with the remaining chimichurri, a green salad, cherry tomatoes and crusty bread rolls.
