(GlutenFree Recipes) Minced Lamb Patties / Kebabs

Ingredients

500g pound lamb
1 shallot, chopped very fine
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp cinnamon(optional)
1 tbsp chopped mint leaves (optional)

Sauce

Dipping Sauce for Adult:
¼ ripe sweet pineapple or 1 big mango, chopped
1 tbsp green chimichurri or orange yogurt / dairy
Some egg free mayonnaise as desired
Some chimichurri & jalapeno onion relish sauce to taste
Some olive oil
Dash of salt and pepper
Some mint leaves and coriander (optional)
Dipping sauce for Kids:
¼ pineapple or 1 big mango, chopped
Some minced apple
Some olive oil
Salt to taste
Some fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat up some oil in a pan. Stir fry shallots till soft.
  2. Mix shallot and remaining ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, and let it sit for 1 hour or longer to infuse the flavours.
  3. Take small amounts and shape them into patties, cylinders or sausage shapes. To make kebabs, use hand to mould mixture onto the skewer.
  4. Pan fry patties/ kebabs for about 5 mins on each side or bake in oven for about 15 mins.
  5. Wrap cooked patties/kebabs in aluminium foil to keep warm while cooking remaining patties or kebabs.
  6. Prepare dipping sauces. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  7. Serve patties/kebabs with dipping sauce.
