Vegetarian Sponge Cake


350g Flour
4 Eggs
200g Sugar
100ml OraSi Soy Milk
180g OraSi Vegan Butter
10g Yeast
1 Pinch of Salt
1 Orange
Icing Sugar


  1. Whip the Soy Margarine with half part of the sugar and flavor with the grated orange peel.
  2. Apart whip the eggs with the remaining sugar, until a swollen beat is obtained. Add it to the soy beat. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder and salt, alternating with the Soy Drink and always beating with the whisk.
  3. Pour the mixture into the 22 cm mold, greased with Soy Margarine and floured. Bake at 175 ° for 55/57 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
  4. Decoration: sprinkle the cake with icing sugar
